I don’t need you to worry for me ’cause I’m alright
I don’t want you to tell me it’s time to come home
I don’t care what you say anymore this is my life
Go ahead with your own life leave me alone

Billy Joel–“My Life”

Welcome to my new daily blog.

Today, I made a commitment to myself, and now I’m going to make that same commitment to my beloved BRAND. Starting today, I am going to try my best to come on here and blog at least once a day. Staying in contact with the Russo Army is VITAL to me. I always want to be giving you your monies worth—always want you coming back for more! But the truth is—after writing a weekly television show for the better part of 15 years—I just really got sick of writing along the way. That’s why I’ve developed such a love for podcasting—get in, say your peace, then get the hell outta there.

But—I want to GROW this site, just like I do the RELM Network, just like I do PodcastOne, just like I do YouTube, Mercury Pro Wrestling Academy, etc., etc., etc.. So, even at 55 years-old I just need to keep pushing myself—just go the extra step. Make the vow to write, and write every day—so here I am. What I’ll be writing about is basically what is on my mind at the time—good, bad or indifferent.

With all that being said—here we go!!!

I just read Jim Cornette’s post about “not understanding pure unadulterated hatred”. He’s right—I don’t—and I hope I never do. I’ve found over the 55-plus years that I’ve lived on this great planet, that’s not only is it much easier and enjoyable to love one another, but that love has a way of spreading itself around. And God knows—we can all use even just a little bit of love in our lives.

Speaking of love, just spent the past 5 hours with my son, VJ, who you might know as the 19th Century Man. We went to TradeSmart, where I picked up SIX GEMS!!!

  1. The Best of Jethro Tull                                        $2.99
  2. Grand Funk Railroad                                          $1.99
  3. Elvis Costello Trust                                             $2.99
  4. Michael Jackson Off the Wall                           $2.99
  5. Who Face Dances                                                $2.99
  6. Stevie Wonder Fulfilling His First Finale      $2.99

Was going to treat VJ to a Chinese buffet. When we went in the woman said it was $19.99 per person. I asked her if we got a back massage with that. She said no, so we left. Settled for a Chicken Fajita Omelet at IHOP.

Amy is visiting her sister and niece in Colorado Springs. She’s probably staying overnight. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy my time alone—I always have.

I absolutely am DREADING 4 hours of wrestling tonight, however, it is my job so I will do it to the absolute best of my capabilities.

I’m not a fireworks guy, just never have been. Just get bored with it real fast.

VJ recently told Will that he can’t make his bachelor party. His older brother wasn’t happy. I’m sure the saga will continue.

Can’t believe I’m saying this . . . I miss the Diva!!!

Peace and Love to All!!!

  1. I love your commitment to The BRAND Vince.

You do not need to worry about content, you guys produce so much and I for one really appreciate it BUT that being said, I really look forward to this daily read!

It is 5am here and getting ready for work so have enjoyed a little something extra from VR to read before the boredom of work begins!

Hope you had a great July 4th Vince.

    Take care.

  2. I’m very glad to see that you will blogging daily again Vince. I’ve been a huge fan of your writing ever since your days of writing for WWF magazine. With that said, I have one question. Will the great Vic Venom make his return in the near future?
