As soon as I complete this blog I have to write my first official blog for Fightful.com. Man, I swear I hate writing these days. Writing is work, it really is. I’ve spoiled myself with the podcasting. I can talk all day, all night, but sitting down and writing something theses days—I absolutely LOATHE it. I guess that goes back to me being a perfectionist, just wanting every word to just fit so perfectly. Why do I still care so much after all these years.

Rumor has it that Jeff Lane is about to break a story entitled, “CANARYGATE!!!” Stay tuned.

Finally got to spend a couple of hours with Amy today. Her sister, Beth, was in town for about 10 days so I haven’t gotten to see her much. Man, it just seems like we’re both pretty tired these days. It just never seems to get easier . . . life . . . does it. I never thought I’d be hustling more at 55 then I was 25.

Saw a great episode of the old Dick Cavett Show last night, his guests were baseball great Satchel Page and artist extraordinaire Salvador Dali. Talk about two eccentric personalities—what a freakin’ treat!

Saw a bio on Janis Joplin on Netflix–absolutely LOVED IT!

Caught the Sammy Davis Jr, episode of All in the Family tonight. Man, the stuff they got away with saying back then was absolutely incredible. Archie Bunker would be in freakin’ JAIL today if he even said 1% as much as he did back in the 70’s.

Been having some good conversations with my new-found friend here in Colorado lately—the man you know as VADER. Leon White was an absolute legend on both the football field and in the ring. How the !@#$%^ is this man not in the comical WWE Hall of Fame? What a joke.

I really need a vacation bad . . . really bad.
