Beloved BRAND MEMBERS, I want to explain something to you that I am experimenting with for the continued growth of the BRAND.

Regardless of what they tell you, RATINGS still mean EVERYTHING in the broadcast world—even when it comes tp PodcastOne. About every two weeks, or so, I get numbers from PodcastOne that measure the success of all our shows. Those numbers tell me what’s working, and what might need to be tweaked a bit. To me, those numbers mean everything. My success at every major wrestling company was due simply by using the ratings as my guide. Give them, the audience, more of what they want, and back off what they might not be watching, or in this case listening to.

With that being said, I am going to move Anything But Freakin’ Rasslin’, over to PodcastOne, and make it part of the Vixens Who Rule Show. ABFW has been wildly popular with the BRAND, and we’re hoping that moving it to PodcastOne will help increase our numbers there. For the future growth of THE BRAND, our success lies very heavily on PodcastOne. That is where we are drawing our largest audience by far.

So, anticipating that move, that’s why we started doing the exclusive Smackdown review to BRAND members only. I would never take something from you without giving something back in return. And, obviously, as we go forward, we will also be adding yet even more EXCLUSIVE CONTENT to you, the VIPs, the backbone of everything we do!

Hope you understand, the more we grow, the more we can do!

Together, let’s make wrestling great again!

  1. Vince and Jeff, have you guys thought about recording LTB&D one day earlier so that it drops on PodcastOne during the same week?
Currently LTB&D is recorded on Thursday, up for The Brand on Friday but not on Podcast One until the following Monday. IMO that’s too long for a “news of the week” show and by Monday some topics are stale.
    Just a thought.

  2. Also, I think this will be a good move. Some weeks I am busier than others and don’t get to catch every single show, but ABFW is a never miss show for me. I don’t know how much my thoughts reflect other listeners/fans of your shows, but my absolute favorite shows are BFOCN, LTB&D, ABFW, and RWWIGF (in that order). Vixens was probably my least favorite show. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the video aspect of those interviews because, like you’ve said, you do get to see these beautiful women and it is very good that they’re getting their dues, but I have found most of the interviews themselves to be very lacking. It’s not because of you, but a lot of the people interviewed just don’t say or talk about much that I would find interesting. I could be totally wrong on this too, so if I am I apologize, but it also seems like a lot of them do a lot more “putting themselves over” in a way that comes across as not exactly honest. At least that’s how it comes across to me.
