Vince Russo, Stevie Richards, and Bin Hamin eagerly anticipated WWE starting off the New Year with a bang. With the declining ratings of 2018, this was a “New Day” to start from scratch. With the first 15 minutes of both Raw and SmackDown showing some “promise” and “hope”, the WWE brain trust proceeded to do what they always do—put us to sleep while losing 600K viewers by show’s end. Is anybody ever held accountable?
