Having lost two dear friends in wrestling, Joanie Lauer (Chyna) and Shannon Spruill (Daffney) to drug overdose and suicide, Vince takes the effects that the wrestling business has on its talent mentally/emotionally very seriously. Just a few days ago AEW’s Michael Wardlow went public with his current battle with depression. What the industry is doing about this issue that is just as important, if not more, as any physical issues that wrestlers suffer.
