Disney announced via a press release that the fifth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise will be hitting theaters in July 2019.
Harrison Ford will return to play the iconic Dr. Jones with Steven Spielberg on board as director once again.
As would be expected, there was no mention of George Lucas in the press release. Lucas developed the plots and produced the first four films, but has since sold his company Lucasfilm to Disney. Story details or additional cast members have not yet been released.
