WOW—it was 40 years ago today that rock-n-roll icons KISS released their 5th album Destroyer. Coming off the huge and unsuspected success of ALIVE, KISS followed it up with what many call their greatest LP to date. The anthem Detroit Rock City came from thisbepic album, as did one of KISS’ only commercial hits, Beth. My fav from this album? A little diddy called, Sweet Pain.
