I am deeply saddened to hear that Kristopher Travis has passed away.

It was about a year ago that Kris was brought to my attention by a Brand member in the UK, who told me his story of heart and courage, as Kris overcame cancer and was preparing to make a comeback to the ring in the sport he loved so much. Prior to that comeback I had the absolute honor and privilege of interviewing Kris and I absolutely fell in love with him and his spirit. Unfortunately, after that comeback . . . Kris’ cancer returned. I had kept in touch with him ever since, and just because of his heart, and soul and his will—in my mind I knew he would overcome the crippling disease again. But, I was informed this morning . . . that he didn’t.

I’m heart broken because I just didn’t expect this. Kris’ courage and will to live was something that absolutely inspired me, it made me understand how lucky I was and how grateful I should be for everything that I have in my life. Kris was a real life hero.

I love you Kris, I will never forget the way you touched my life. I know you are in a much peaceful place right now.

God be with you and bless you, my friend

  1. So much I want to say about this guy, nothing that will make this situation any easier…..

RIP Kris, absolute gentleman, you will be missed.

  2. Absolutely gutted!

I lost my Mum to cancer so I know first hand about this horrible disease. Kris was someone with an amazing amount of courage and strength. He’ll be missed!

The wrestling business has lost another great one.

    Be strong Vince,
