On today’s edition, Vince BLOWS A GASKET over losing Dee Gordon, buries Clay Buchholz for squandering his spot start and gives you the names of 4 players–still on the waiver wire– who may pay off BIG for you this year

  1. Buchholz is never a lock, he plays down (or up) to the level of competition he’s facing. He’s frail, emotionally battered, and has diminishing stuff. That’s the most optimistic scouting report I can muster as a Sox fan. Wright will stick around and he’s already loved in Boston because of Tim Wakefield. Best potential of the bunch was Rubby De La Rosa, now in Arizona (for Wade Miley). 6% owned, has the stuff, just needs experience/ maturity.

Good luck with Dee Gordon… I was THAT GUY in my league. I’m keeping him too, hopefully Joe Panik isn’t headed to the DL to boot.
