Wes Copeland set a new world record in Donkey Kong and has shared the video for all to see on YouTube. Copeland scored 1,218,000 points on the 1981 arcade classic, reclaiming the crown after his previous world record had been beaten.

    I don’t know if anyone has seen the movie “The King of Kong: A fist full of quarters” but it was about the original record holder and how someone beat him… And they tried to say it didn’t count so he had to do it again… Great movie to watch, it goes into detail of all the secrets of the game and the hatred these guys had for each other lol

    But to see his score beaten by over 200k is just crazy
