Almost midnight here in the Rockies.

Worked tonight at Mercury Pro. Putting final touches on first show I wrote and produced that will be available to you on Thursday. It’s a work it progress, and it won’t happen over night, but nothing happens overnight. Sometimes greatness takes years and years of hard work and CONSISTENCY. Consistency is the key to success. You have to choose a course, believe in that course and see that course through. If your sails flip and flop in the wind . . . you will never make it to your final destination. Consistency made the WWE during the Attitude Era. Inconsistency killed both WCW and TNA in my opinion.

I fast forwarded through the draft when I came home. I apologize, but I just can’t find it within myself to have any kind of serious discussion over an absolute mock draft. It’s silly and it’s stupid. Again, I’ve done it because it was part of my job, but I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I felt stupid doing it. I just have to be honest with both myself, and you—I just think I’m past wrestling. The fact that the industry hasn’t grown up, or evolved during the years has just lost me. I’m just not interested in it. I just don’t believe it. I’m much more interested in talking about the “Business of the Business.” That’s where I think the future is at.

I just don’t like Stephanie McMahon. I’m sorry . . . but, I don’t. It all goes back to the way she spoke to me 14 years ago and I’ve never forgotten. From there, it’s the horror stories I’ve heard from the writers who’ve worked underneath her, the “show” when it comes to her putting herself over as a philanthropist and of course her empty comments when my girl Chyna passed. I can’t be subjective when it comes to her. She’s just really rubbed me the wrong way for the past 14 years—as I’m sure I’ve probably rubbed her.

Tomorrow I’m looking forward to an enjoyable interview with Ken Anderson. I’m hoping we can talking everything and anything BUT wrestling. Ken is an extremely intelligent dude.

I’m gonna go fall asleep now.
