This week we bring you Case #00110: The Jimmy Savile Story. Jimmy Savile was an English DJ, television and radio personality who hosted BBC shows including Top of the Pops and Jim’ll Fix It. He raised an estimated £40 Million for Charities during his lifetime. However after his passing, hundreds of allegations of sexual abuse were made against him. The police concluded that he had been a predatory sex offender and possibly one of Britain’s most prolific. There had been allegations during his lifetime, but they were dismissed and accusers ignored or disbelieved. On this episode of Wrestling With Tragedy, we cover the allegations and the theories why this man was never put on trial.
