Just read on TMZ that comedian Gary Shandling, 66, died today of a massive heart attack in Los Angeles. This comes as a complete SHOCK to me. Shandling was always a great inspiration to me as a writer, as I always wanted to model the reality of wrestling behind the scenes based on what he did on his HBO The Larry Sanders Show. That series was eons ahead of it’s time and one of the first original series hits that HBO produced.
Man, what a loss. What an iconic genius.
RIP Gary Shandling.

Im 37 now, and I LOVED all things Gary, from his network show, to Larry Sanders, to his brief cameo in Winter Soldier…VERY sad to see him go
