The original Super Mario Bros for the NES has a new speed run world record. YouTuber darbian set the record on April 13th by beating the game in 4 minutes and 57.260 seconds during a live stream. Amazingly, he also was answering chat questions during the performance.

The record was set on an original Nintendo Entertainment System without using any tool assist programs.  Check it out:

  1. I’m a big fan of speed runs although I do prefer the “Games done quick” as I like the game facts we get too.

Great achievement for this kid, I remember playing Mario as a kid and completing it in about 10 minutes when and thought I was cool, I was about 8 though lol

Anyone else like speed runs please check out Games done quick on YouTube, they play for charity on twitch but upload the videos on YouTube.
